Create a memorable weekend of engaging opportunities for America's 400th Anniversary ticket holders of all ages, national dignitaries and stakeholder leadership to experience this history-making event
Build programming that honors the historic legacies of Jamestown and the three cultures that intersected there: the Indians, English & Africans and that entertains a diverse age demographic
Ensure that traffic is driven to all 3 venues - 2 existing tourism destinations and 1 temporary venue created specifically for this event
Capture the essence of the historic weekend for a 1-hour television special for airing on CBS stations
SOLUTIONS
Created from the ground up an experience on 22 acres of land "Anniversary Park" that offered a diverse audience an opportunity to be part of this historic event
Designed an event with something for everyone including pageantry, celebrities, interactive exhibits, 6 stages, over 4,000 performers, original musical and cultural productions, regional artisans and fireworks
Produced a live concert honoring the heritage of American music with celebrated artists from the Native American, African and English cultures
Linked all three venues with cross promotions via signage and public announcements and projecting key events from each location onto large IMAG screens in each setting
Designed consistent way-finder and sponsor signage for use across all 3 venues
